The FitzWimarc School is an 11-16 secondary comprehensive school which is also a DfES designated Languages College. It is a nine form entry school with about 1300 pupils on roll.

Religious Education at FitzWimarc follows the Essex Agreed Syllabus, "Open Worlds". Here, the aims of Religious Education are twofold:
to open the world of religion to pupils, helping them to discover a range of possibilities within that world, and to relate this exploration to their own experience.

to assist pupils in their own quests for identity, meaning and purpose and help them mature in respect of their own beliefs, values and attitudes.
The first is called 'learning about religion', the second 'learning from religion'

This site is an annexe to the FitzWimarc R.E Site, providing interesting photographs, games, jokes, puzzles and quizzes.
